Category A1 Rules For Motorcyclists

The category a1 rules apply to those who want to ride small motorcycles. They have a maximum cylinder capacity of 35 kW. They are not derived directly from vehicles with more than twice their power.

Open category drone operations are separated into three subcategories, namely A1 to A3. You can fly drones using the class label C0 or A1 within the A1 subcategory (flying over people) up to January 2024.

A1

Category A1 is one of three drone categories regulated by EASA.  prawo jazdy kat. a1  is available to aircraft with a maximum takeoff mass (MTOM), which is 25 kilograms. It requires a flight schedule and a flight log as well as a remote identification system and geoawareness technology. The drone should be visible to the pilot at all at all times. A1 applicants must have a minimum 16 years experience in riding two-wheeled vehicles. They must also complete compulsory basic training and have passed a theory test and a practical test. Moreover, they must possess a valid medical certificate.

A1 license holders are able to use two-wheeled mopeds as long as their capacity of cylinder is not more than 125 cc, and their power to weight ratio is not more than 0.1 kW/kg. They are also able to operate motorcycles with a cylinder capacity of no greater than 125cc as well as trikes and quad bikes.

The category A1 licence has been designed to make it easier for drivers to move up to the next category of vehicle. This allows them to drive vehicles that have a maximum mass of 35 kW. This is an incentive to get some experience driving less powerful vehicles before moving onto the higher licence categories.

Drones currently being used but do not have the CE mark are able to be operated under the subcategory "A1" until January 1st, 2024. They are not at risk and do not pose a serious threat to the general population. However, they must be at 150 meters from buildings, industry and recreational areas. A2

If you've completed your CBT training and are planning to obtain an motorcycle license, you may be qualified for a category A1 licence. This permits you to ride a small motorcycle without a sidecar. The vehicle must have a maximum cylinder capacity of 125cc and a maximum power output of 11kW. You must be at least 16 years old to obtain this licence. You can also fly in the A2 sub-category using drones that weigh a total up to 4kg, but you must keep them at an appropriate distance from people during take-off and landing. The drones must remain at least 30m away from people in low-speed mode, or 5m if they are not involved. You must also pass the A2 Certificate of Competence (A2 CofC) exam to fly in this category.

If you're planning to fly larger drones, you'll need to apply for an operator's permit in the specific category. This requires you to complete the General VLOS Certificate training, flight assessment, and create an Operations Manual. The application process is similar to a PfCO. A2 also enables you to fly transitional drones that are not yet CE marked, but which have been modified to lessen the chance of collisions with humans. These drones will be allowed to be flown in A2 up until the year 2022's end. After that, they'll need to comply with the A3 regulations.

The A1 and A2 categories are designed to assist you in becoming a safe and confident motorcyclist. The number of lessons required is contingent on your capability and the progress you are making in your learning, but you must complete a certain amount of special rides. This includes a minimum five lessons on country road as well as four on highways and three at dawn or in darkness.

A3

This type of flight is for drones with a maximum take-off mass of up to 25 kilograms. It is a less risky operation, but strict precautions must be taken to mitigate potential incidents. A safety distance of 150 meters must be maintained from industrial, commercial, residential and recreational areas. This category also requires drones be equipped with a remote identifier system as well as a Geoawareness System.

This tier is also divided into sub-categories, A1, A2, or A3. The A1 subcategory permits flights over uninvolved people and is exclusively designated for drones having the Class identification label C0 or C1. It must be at least 30 metres from any third party while flying at a flight height, or 5 metres in slow flight mode.

Drones bearing the Class Identification Label C2 may be operated under subcategory A2 when they meet the requirements for size, and the remote pilot has passed an additional theoretical knowledge test. This exam is designed to assess the remote pilot's comprehension of the operational and technical mitigations that address the added risks of flying larger drones (class C2, weighing less than 4kg mass) close to people. The successful completion of this test results in the award of a 'certificate of competence to fly in category A2'.

To operate a drone that falls under this category you must pass the standard online flyer ID test and follow up with a second theoretical test. A4

The DOH is currently preparing guidelines for category A4. These guidelines will be consistent with other operations and will include information such as the number of dressings that are changed every day. These guidelines will be presented to the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infections, (IATF-EID), and the DOH National Immunization Technical Advisory Group. The IATF EID and the DOH National Technical Advisory Group on Immunization will examine and approve these guidelines prior to their being finalized.

In this category, drones sporting the class identification labels C0 and C1 are allowed to fly within a distance of 50 meters of uninvolved people. This is a very low-risk subcategory, but stringent precautions should be taken to avoid accidents. Drones classified as A1 or A2 must be able to pass an additional theoretical test before they can operate in this subcategory.

This examination aims to assess knowledge of the added dangers associated with flying drones near people. The certificate of competence is awarded upon successful completion of this test. The operator must maintain at least 30 metres between the aircraft and any uninvolved persons or 5 metres when flying in slow-flight mode.

You must take a certain amount of lessons to pass the theory test and then you have to pass the practical test. This amount varies depending on your age, skill level and learning speed. However, a minimum of 12 lessons lasting 90 minutes should be completed.


In these classes you will be able to understand your car and the traffic laws. Moreover, you will receive helpful tips to drive in difficult terrain. You should also take part in some special rides in addition to your mandatory driving lessons.

The new category E brings together the classes A1 (retail) A1 (retail) (financial services and professional services) B1 (offices) A4 (restaurants/cafes), and B5 for hot food takeaway. It also includes medical and health-related uses such as creches and nurseries, and indoor recreation facilities. The change is likely to streamline the licensing process and cut costs. It will also allow landlords to use their buildings in ways that aren't currently allowed.
